Privacy & Cookies Policy

This Privacy & Cookies Policy explains how TamRx Ltd (“TamRx”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data in compliance with applicable UK data protection and privacy legislation, including:

TamRx does not currently appoint a statutory Data Protection Officer (DPO), as this is not required under Article 37 UK GDPR for our activities. However, all data protection enquiries are handled with equivalent care.

3. Personal Data We Collect

TamRx collects limited personal data only, appropriate to a professional consultancy website and client relationship.

This may include:

  • Identity and contact details (e.g. name, business email address, company name);
     
  • Billing and transaction details (e.g. invoicing information);
     
  • Technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, device information) collected via cookies;
     
  • Correspondence records (e.g. emails or enquiry forms).
     

TamRx does not collect, process, or store:

  • patient data,
     
  • clinical data,
     
  • health records,
     
  • GMP operational systems data,
     
  • confidential manufacturing data.
     

Any analytical work is conducted only on client-provided, anonymised, non-identifiable datasets, under contract.

4. Lawful Bases for Processing

TamRx processes personal data only where a lawful basis exists under Article 6 UK GDPR, including:

  • Performance of a contract;
     
  • Legitimate interests (e.g. business administration, security, responding to enquiries);
     
  • Compliance with legal obligations (e.g. accounting and tax);
     
  • Consent, where required (e.g. non-essential cookies or marketing communications).
     

5. Purposes of Processing

Personal data is processed solely to:

  • administer client relationships, subscriptions, and licences;
     
  • respond to enquiries and provide professional support;
     
  • meet accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations;
     
  • maintain website functionality, security, and aggregated analytics.
     

TamRx does not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.

6. Data Sharing and Processors

Personal data may be shared with trusted third-party service providers (such as website hosting, accounting, or email delivery services) where necessary for business operations.

All such providers are:

  • bound by confidentiality obligations, and

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil its purpose, including:

  • up to 6–7 years for accounting and legal compliance (in line with HMRC and Companies Act requirements);
     
  • shorter periods for correspondence and enquiries where no contractual relationship exists.

No internet-facing system is entirely risk-free; however, TamRx takes reasonable and proportionate steps to mitigate risks in line with Article 32 UK GDPR.

Individuals have rights under UK GDPR, including the right to:

  • access their personal data;
     
  • request rectification or erasure;
     
  • restrict or object to processing;
     
  • request data portability (where applicable).
